Booked a car through Jose. Super simple, very straight forward. Didn’t ask for a huge deposit as in his own words we ‘looked like a nice sensible family’ and he did things old school which I liked. Hired a lovely little Citroen for a couple of days, went all over,”. No mileage restrictions. No big sell on the extra insurance. It was only 5 euro a day. I didn’t even read what it covered and just had it. You gotta help the locals haven’t you?! Think it was about 100 quid for a couple of days and I was in the car in ten minutes. Also gave us a free entry for the driver to Marineworld which was why we wanted to hire a car anyway. Bonus!

We had a great experience renting a car here! After chatting about going on an excursion, the staff member gave us some fantastic suggestions and actually recommended renting a car instead. So glad we took their advice! We ended up visiting a local market, a beautiful church, and the Caves of Drach — all at our own pace. The car itself, a Citroën C3, was a lovely little motor — smooth to drive, great sat nav, and perfect for a fun run around for the day. Highly recommend!
